Ulurudawn Vizslas owned by Dr Verity J. Griffiths BSc(Hons) MA VetMB GPCert(SAS) GPCert(EM&S) MRCVS and Philippa M. Scott.

Verity qualified from the University of Cambridge after previously gaining a degree in Immunology from King’s College, University of London. Verity’s interests lie in all areas of surgery and emergency medicine having gained the GP Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2007 and her GP Certificate in Emergency Medicine and Surgery in 2016. She has a keen interest in pain management and complements this with acupuncture alongside conventional medicine. Verity joined Southfield Veterinary Centre in 2002, became a partner in 2007 and then bought the business and took over sole charge in 2009.In 2018, she sold her 24 hour Veterinary Hospital to the Medivet Group and she still retains partnership in the hospital.

Verity and Philippa met in 2006 and married in 2008. Philippa has a work history of social work management following a ten year career in the music industry. The last four years before retiring in 2019 she joined Southfield Veterinary Centre as Practice Manager, Together Philippa and Verity transformed the practice into a large single centre small animal hospital, the only one at that time in the locality. Their family consists of three Hungarian Vizslas, Ruban, Freya and Midas together with Sika a Border Terrierist(!), Tobias and Augustus the cats, three chickens (Daisy, Miggy and Dilly) and the two canaries, Bart and Homer.
